Greg Hartman
President, External Affairs and Network Support Services, Texas Ministry Market, Seton
Greg Hartman has responsibility for managing Ascension Texas’ wide array of community relationships, including Seton’s growing enterprise in academic medicine and research as well as philanthropy. For several years he led efforts to create collaboration between Seton, the University of Texas at Austin, the UT System and Central Health to bring translational medical research and academic medicine to Central Texas. He also serves as a senior leader on all of Ascension Texas marketing, brand management and government affairs activities. Greg has served as CEO for Seton Medical Center Austin, the University Medical Center Brackenridge and the Clinical Education Center at Brackenridge.
Before joining Seton, Greg worked around the nation as a consultant for public affairs, communications, marketing and strategic planning. He was a Managing Director for Public Strategies, Inc. an international strategy and communications firm, and served as a Senior Partner with MGT of America, a management consulting and research firm. Additionally, for nearly two decades, he worked as a strategic political consultant, including campaigns for President, the U.S. Senate and numerous statewide campaigns.
