Pedro guides the “people strategy” and manages the human resources functions, services, policies, and programs for all entities of Burning Man Project. Born in Peru, Pedro is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, earned his BA from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s in Public Administration from Norwich University.

Pedro has nearly 20 years of experience in public health, including laboratory medicine, clinical research, community mental health, and youth education. Pedro has served on several nonprofit boards and numerous public health coalitions aimed at promoting health equity. In his time off, he loves to travel, enjoys scuba diving, and you can alway count on him to be the first one on the dance floor.
