Knowlton holds the position of Chief People Officer where she enjoys the unique human resources challenges that naturally accompany the complex, fast-growing international environment of HomeAway. Since joining the company in 2007, Knowlton has focused her time on refining the company’s results-driven culture, recruiting top talent in a global market, post-acquisition employee engagement and global rewards. Prior to HomeAway, Knowlton held HR leadership roles for several publicly traded, multi-national technology companies. Knowlton also has a rich background in software start-ups and has supported many and varied acquisitions at prior companies.

Knowlton’s passion for travel, entrepreneurial business and people come together perfectly at HomeAway. In her spare time, she aspires to learn Spanish from her daughter, hopes to exceed her Fitbit goals and enjoys mentoring early stage companies through TechStars Austin.

Knowlton holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
